This table set was a gift for my two-year-old daughter.It took over a month to actually get the shipment which was incorrect.The company accidentally sent two sets of chairs with the table.Soon after receiving the packages, I got a call from a very rude woman insisting that I pay for the second set of chairs or return them IMEDIATELY!I had not opened the package and was told that they would send UPS a return label.When UPS arrived, they said that I had to pay for the shipping (of the chairs the company accidentally sent me).I explained the situation to the driver and he allowed me to just "refuse shipment" and pretend that the box arrived just then.A couple weeks later I got another rude call demanding to know where the chairs were.I explained that they were sent back.On top of all the annoying calls and confusion, the chairs were horrible.My daughter stood on one of them (she weighs 25 lbs) and the legs on one side just buckled.There were gaps in the wood and no way to tighten them well.One of the screw holes on the back of one chair top was too big and the screw never even "caught".Also, the company could use a new copy machine.The one-page directions that came with the table and chairs were illegible.Luckily, there are pictures and you can kind of tell what you are supposed to do.I would NEVER purchase anything from this company again!

Review of Ace Bayou Round Bean Bag

I purchased this for my son to take to college for his dorm room. He is the same height and weight as one of the reviewers of the Black model. We are so disappointed. This bag is just too small for an adult male to sit comfortably with any kind of back support. Since it would cost close to the shipping price to return it, we are saving it for a gift for a young niece or nephew.

I will say it is nicely stuffed in comparison to similar beanbag chairs purchased at large chain stores. I'm sure the little kids will love it.

Review of Carolina Cottage Tavern Stool

I thought these were a little expensive, up until the point they arrived. The come fully assembled at the factory and they are built SOLID! These are made of solid walnut (all around) and have a beautiful finish. This is definitely not some cheap ass bar stool. I have a feeling they will be just as sturdy ten years from now. I guess this company that makes these also makes some other high end furnature too. I ended up getting free shipping from Amazon, so considering how much these weight, it's a pretty good deal.

I rarely order "bolt together" furniture, but the cost of a similar looking set at my usual furniture store (offering 'underprices') was nearly double, so I took a chance and ordered this 5-pce contemporary dining set to replace a traditional-style oak set.A day or 2 after order placement, I received a call to confirm my order and provide delivery details.The set arrived on time (within 7-10 days of order).After carefully removing each piece from the double box and impact foam it was packed in, I noticed a couple of minor blemishes caused by movement during shipping. Fortunately, the blemishes are in places that aren't noticeable after assembly.The set is made entirely of furniture-grade hardwood (no cheap particle board) and the parts bolt or screw together.Assembly took me 2 hours at a relaxed pace.All hardware (nuts, bolts & washers) and an Allen wrench is included.Additionally, for assembly, you'll need a Phillips head screwdriver and (optional) wood glue for the dowels. I've been using the set for several days and am pleased with it.Only negative comment I have it with respect to the screws used to fasten the seating pads, which I found to be too long.The instructions call for use of 1-1/2" screws (incl.), but, when screwed down, these can be felt when sitting...OUCH!Fortunately, I pushed down on the seating pad with my hand and felt the sharp screw before I made the mistake of sitting on it.I ended up using the shorter screws (incl.) for affixing the seating pads and the 1-1/2" screws to fasten the stretchers to the front and rear legs of the stools, which is the reverse of what the instructions tell you to do.An easy fix.Compared to other similar looking, comparably priced, but sometimes lesser quality sets I saw, this 5 pce set represents a very good investment, which I'm confident will provide years of reliable service and will hold up to daily use by my family of 4.

My three granchildren, 4 1/2 and 3 love this table.They like having their legos in the center pouch.It is a perfect size for their room and a great place to do puzzles and legos. Pretty good quality, I would compare it to Ashley furniture.It should wear pretty well with the kids eating off of it.There is a lot of assembly required, it took my very handy hubby about 3 hours to put it all together.A good value for the price.I love the storage underneath the table.It adds a lot visually, and we can always use more storage space!

Love this, love this, love this!!!It was shorter than I thought it would be, but that turned out to be great.My daughter is 16 months and is very much into chairs so this is the perfect size for her.It is a little small for her 3 year old cousin, but she makes do.Easy to put together, cute design, unisex and very sturdy.I would definitley recommend this table and chair set, but will have to replace it for a taller set when my daughter is about 3 or so because of the height.

Review of Carolina Cottage Bella Desk

This desk broke the first day it was in my house! The drawer is actually supposed to pull out (for a computer keyboard, presumably) -- the drawer face is supposed to rotate out 45 degrees to lay parallel to the drawer's bottom. Upon receiving the desk, however, I couldn't get the drawer to open -- until the whole desk face CAME OFF in my hand. Wouldn't purchase it again, or recommend it to anyone.

Review of Norfolk Dining Table - Espresso

"Made in America" might not be associated with the best quality nowdays, but "Made in Vietnam" isn't exactly inspiring either. Right after I got the table, a small piece of it was already broken, though it was easily repaired. The table scratches very easily, so keep that in mind.

The "expandable" feature of the table is pretty neat, but it takes a special finesse (I.E. a fist and some force) to get it to go into place properly.

Please keep in mind that the table is 29" tall. Buy chairs that match, or else you'll have to modify the table to make it taller (which I actually did, because I'm the only idiot that buys furniture online without double checking those basics).

Overall, a good table that does all the basic things a table does without being expensive! And it actually looks pretty nice too!

"It is not small at all... this is the way beanbag chairs are designed. Also, the tag on the product clearly states that it's for "Ages 13 and up". I was 5'2" at thirteen.

I'm 5'6" now and still fit into this perfectly.

If you think it's small, you should check out the other beanbags... they're even worse."

I purchased this chair along with Video Bag 6Cu Black W/Lycra L Shaped Bean Bag for a reading nook in my room and am very pleased. It's much cheaper than many of the other similar beanbags available, only 15 dollars for a nice large beanbag. It's a great size, maybe even a little on the large side, and can fit several children at need. I like the handle, too. It's easy to just grab and move to another room if I need to. The beanbag's the perfect middle way between overstuffed and limp, and very comfortable. I can imagine it would be great for a dorm room too.

Review of Noah's Ark 5-pc. Table and Chairs Set

I purchased this for my grandchildren to use when they are in my home. They were thrilled to have a place to sit that is just their size. The colors and shapes are bright and cheerful. We bought this sofa for our 15 month old daughter. First we were a little anxious getting this chair without seeing any reviews but we are very happy with this chair. Our daughter reads books on this chair, has snacks, watches tv, and hides behind the chair to play hide and seek. We researched thoroughly to get the best chair for her and would definitely prefer this one to many other popular ones like Pottery Barn's Anywhere chair because
1) It is easy to clean the surface; it almost feels like real leather.

This is a very pretty counter height dining table and chairs.I was very happy that the color was more of a rich darker color than shown in the picture.I took a snapshot with flash of the set after it was put together, and it showed the same as in the picture on Amazon.If you are looking for a darker wood, do not discount this.It just matches the color and style of my coffee and end tables.I am very pleased with the quality of the set for the price, and I have ordered two more chairs.It took awhile to put it all together, and I had help from my brother.The instructionsare clear, but it doesn't state that you have to place the base a certain direction so that the top of the base pieces fit properly for the holes. Of course, if you look carefully at the picture in the instructions, you can see the direction.Make sure to screw off the plastic end tips on the already placed screws before trying to assemble.The cushions on the chairs are soft and comfortable and a neutral dark taupe.The customer service was outstanding when I emailed them.I got an automatic response they received my email and then I got a personal email later on.

I love this changing table. I was very worried about ordering one online because I couldn't touch it to feel how sturdy it was but this one is very sturdy and heavy. I put mine together on Thursday morning and had my baby that night so I'm glad I didn't have to worry with sending back a cheaply made product. I put the table together by myself and I would recommend getting someone to help you or it will be quite frustrating holding all the pieces together. I would recommend this to product to anyone, it's great.

Review of Winsome Wood Coffee Table, Antique Walnut

Well I thought it was a good deal when I bought them in April 2007 but these are turning out to be horrible. I bought two for a mountain cabin. BOTH now have wood that's splitting, the top is separating from the edge moulding, and one literally has a split that I can fit 3 credit cards in! These are terrible! They obviously didn't kiln dry the wood used to make them, the finish is even worse with the splits because the wood is almost whitish and no amount of touchup is gonna fix a crack I can see thru.Plus, I wrote the original review based on the first one prior to opening the second.They sent the wrong legs on the second one...I had to drill out holes to jerry-rig it.
Don't waste your money.
These are junk!

Review of 5pc Oval Glass Top Muller Natural Dining Table Chairs Set

This set came in two boxes. I put the chairs together in less than a half hour. If you don't look at the arrows on the chrome legs (part that is screwed to chair)it will not line up. I could have cut 10 minutes off assembly had I done that! The table was easy to put together too but requires a strong person to lift and turn, or an extra pair of hands to help. It is a simple but classy set. The oval glass tapers gracefully at both ends. The chairs are quite comfortable for hard surface seating. There is a nice back supporting curve to the design. These chairs are design classics and will always be in style. The design of the set will work well with contemporary, transitional or ecclectic rooms. Because the top is glass and the style is so clean, it has a light foot print. In other words if you have a lot of dark or heavy pieces nearby, it might dwarf the set. The second tier of glass is a nice feature. I put a very geometric piece on it. This adds interest (and color if you want) to table. When you install the smaller glass tier, it's frosted. Put the textured side on facing the floor. You will still have the effect without the cleaning problem. Also, if you want to put holiday or occassion decor on smaller tier, you will have the effect of a centerpiece and the use of your whole table top. If you like clean lines and classic contemp, go for it! You won't be sorry. This table and chairs looks far more expensive than it's very,very,very reasonable price. Click on some of the contemp furn houses and you will similaritems for $2000.00 and up! I do home staging for a living and I'd use this set in a high $ home. I'm really happy! Can you tell?!

Review of Two Dogs Designs, 110 Oval/Rect Table Cover

This was a great purchase. The cover is large and well constructed. We bought it for an oval-shaped custom made wooden picnic table and it works perfectly- covers the whole thing from top to bottom. I was expecting something much thinner, but I believe this should last for many years.

The chairs were awful to put together.I was not happy with the end product of the chairs.We could not get the arrowbacks to the chairs to fit in the chair snug.The rods kept falling out.We ended up having to use superglue to have them not move.Also the directions were not very clear.
I would recommend to not get this table.

Review of Carolina Cottage Cambridge Folding Rocker, White

The Carolina Cottage Folding rocker came today and what a let down.The wood on the arm was cracked in several places, from green wood being used. It is also sloppy feeling when sitting in it.The chair sent to me is not worth $20.Don't let the Caroline name fool you.It is made in China and is as cheap as a Chinese Christmas toy.I called the company directly to complain and put in a return for a refund with Amazon.I should have known it was junk since there were not any reviews.Hope this helps anyone else in the market for a folding rocker.

Review of Strathwood Cast Aluminum Garden Bistro Set

The table is very nice and sturdy.I think it will last a long time.The chairs force you to sit upright, so there is a tendency is to rock back onto the 2 back legs.These are for our vacation rental, so I'm expecting them to break before too long.These are cast aluminum, and either the mold or the casting process leaves the pieces ill-fitting, something you'll notice while doing the assembly but won't notice once assembled.
