I received the chairs today and am pleased with the way they look.I also love how light yet how sturdy they are.However, they do not come fully assembled as the description states.The foot rests on the sides of the chairs have to be put on and on one chair, the screw holes didn't line up exactly right.Still, for the money (considering I needed 10 to go around our outside kitchen/bar) they are a definitely a good buy.
I have purchased other Strathwood products (chaises, side tables, the 48 inch round table, and four swivel chairs.) This stuff looks like it cost much more - a "Frontgate" look for a fraction of the price. The cushions on the chairs are kind of cheap but as an interior designer, I can have cushions made easily enough. I don't love the off white fabric on any of these pieces, but do love the "bones" of the Strathwood furniture and have recommended it to clients. Once recovered in a better material, I know I will get many, many years of use. This may not be practical for some people so I thought I should make mention of this.To me, the fabric is the only real negative.
