Giftmark 1406N Solid Wood Childrens Table & Chair Set Natural Review

We received this table and chairs as a gift for our toddler, and at first I was very excited.After putting it together, it is very sturdy and will easily hold up to climbing, pounding, and other active children's play.However, the overall quality of the table is not as high as I had hoped.

Already, there are several cracks on the side of the table top where the wood was poorly joined.There is also a large flaw in the wood on the surface of the table that leaves a gap.Not a big deal right now, but may become an issue as she starts to care more about her coloring.(The whole is large enough to create a rubbing of the flaw when coloring with a crayon)

Overall I would say that the quality of the wood is high, but the quality control of the manufacture leaves much to be desired.

This table was a gift, and we threw out the packaging before we noticed the flaws. Therefore it is ours to keep.If you buy this very sturdy table, examine it carefully before and after assembly.If you receive one without flaws, it would be a five star item, as it is attractive, functional, and easy to assemble.
