This is a very pretty counter height dining table and chairs.I was very happy that the color was more of a rich darker color than shown in the picture.I took a snapshot with flash of the set after it was put together, and it showed the same as in the picture on Amazon.If you are looking for a darker wood, do not discount this.It just matches the color and style of my coffee and end tables.I am very pleased with the quality of the set for the price, and I have ordered two more chairs.It took awhile to put it all together, and I had help from my brother.The instructionsare clear, but it doesn't state that you have to place the base a certain direction so that the top of the base pieces fit properly for the holes.
