I got these chair cushions to replace the kind that have the non-slip surface on the underside with no ties.Those cushions had become lumpy and uncomfortable and were always getting pulled off my young child.These new cushions have a removable foam insert in them which makes it convenient for washing the cover (I have not had to do this yet), and the ties work great.Also the foam insert will never become lumpy like the stuffed type of cushions.My daughter has not taken a single cushion off.The darker design works great for us with our young messy kids.I definitely recommend these over the non-slip type of chair cushion.
