We ordered this sofa and matching ottoman on Target.com with a discount we recieved via email.It has far exceeded our expectations!
I read all the reviews and they are dead on.The upholstery IS darker.The cushions are firm and comfortable. It's very nice.The frame is solid and the fabric luxurious.

The only problem we had is with the freight conractor that Target used being slow to communicate. But, it did arrive in one piece and was easy to put together (having 2 people helped).

If you are thinking about this couch....go ahead! You won't be sorry.

It's high quality and affordable! This is very durable and looks like it costs twice as much.I would buy it all over again! We love it!

The couch arrived and was in amazing condition. It took me about an hour to put together the couch (horrible instructions) but i managed. The furniture itself was in flawless condition and is amazingly sturdy. It complements the room perfectly. The only concern i have is the shipping. But if you buy this, which i recommend you do, enjoy it! its comfortable!

Bistro grouping worked nicely size and style wise for the
front covered porch.Several of the soft wood parts were
a little scared from packaging and shipping.Took some
concentration in following instruction to assemble and
the canvas seating was a little stiff.Hopefully after
the canvas is broken in the seating will be more comfortable.Since they're used under cover outdoors I
decided to put a sealer weather proofing on all wood parts.

I ordered 3 of these barstools to go in my new house. I was a little scared because I was not able to see them in a store first but it was a pleasant surprise. I love them! There was no assembly required so that made my husband very happy also. They look beautiful and are very high quality. The only down side is I had to pay for shipping. Review of Winsome Wood Drop-Leaf Kitchen Cart

I bought this cart to help me save space in my small apartment kitchen.Unforunately all it's been doing is taking up space in the rest of the apartment!When I first got the item, I had a part missing, the magnets for the doors were both busted and lastly, I had an incorrect piece (one of the legs) that was mislabeled.So there's no way I could put it together.

So I tried to contact the manufacturer via e-mail, and received no response.So amazon's customer service, which has been awesome so far,immediately put a replacement in the works.I just got the replacement unit today, and guess what?The same piece/leg that was wrong andmislabeled the first time, has the same exact problem this time around.

So now I have TWO large boxes taking up space in my apartment that I need to send back to amazon.Hopefully I'll get my refund.One last thing, looking at the quality of the materials of the unit, I'd have to say they're pretty junky.Save your money!

My husband and I were pleased with the look and price of this set, but ended up enjoying it for a mere 3 months before the table began to show cracks. Our honeymoon with it entirely ended when he sat down in one of the chairs holding my daughter (the two of them weigh only 200 lbs together) and cracked the front part of the chair frame in two parts. We are convinced the rest of the chairs will soon follow suit. Choose a different set!

Review of 4pc Ascot Indoor/Outdoor Wicker Patio Set - Mocha

The Furniture arrives unassembled in one huge box that is impossible to move on one's own. The pieces look sturdy and attractive and the table assembled relatively easily. The other pieces (loveseat and 2 chairs)were all manufactured with a defective peg that made them impossible to completely assemble. When I called Ewins about this, they wanted me to photograph all of the defective pieces, email them a letter that explained the problem, attach the photos to my email and said they would send my letter from customer service to "supervisors" who would then decide how to handle the problem. The representative I spoke to was friendly but unyielding. There was no simpler way to handle this. I wanted Ewins to arrange pick-up of the defective items. I was informed politely but with a carefully scripted dialogue that this was impossible. I would first need to do "my part". I thought my part ended with paying for the furniture!!!

My husband and I decided that it just is NOT worth the hassle of dealing with Ewins. We are going to assemble the chairs without the defective front pieces - you can at least sit on them, and purchase other furniture later when we can afford it. So, save your money. This company will deliver a box of headaches, when you have shelled out good money for something that should be enjoyed.

Review of Wood Baker's Rack with Hutch

I just moved into a new house, and the kitchen had almost NO cabinet or counter space.We have a nice pantry for food and storage, but that doesn't help much with small appliances like the microwave or toaster oven.I managed to fit BOTH of those appliances on this piece (though to be sure, it was close on the toaster oven, as we put it on one of the upper shelves, which are not as deep as the main top surface), and it has provided necessary storage space, as well as a place to display some nice decorative pieces.The wood seems heavy and sturdy, and assembly was easy (I did it ALMOST entirely by myself, but I would recommend having a second person around to help).
The only drawback to the piece is that the attachment between the cabinet base and the hutch top is NOT as sturdy as I would like, but as long as the piece is back against a wall, it should not pose any problems.

This is obvious one of the best issue that I owned, apart from the most intersting cover they have too.

I missed this issue and had to buy it from a friend who have subscription and I never regret having this. I have thrown several issue of TIMEs away, but not this one. It show no prejudism and no bias against anyone. It depict famous people from huge range, not just scientist in physics and mathematic. To me it's worthwhile having this issue. Believe me I going to keep this issue for my grandchildrens. :)

We received shipment of our Powell Kitchen Butler over a week early and were delighted. We put it together on Saturday and though there were many steps and pieces it went together very nicely. The directions were easy to follow and nothing was missing. The Butler is fantastic. It matches our kitchen cabinets so well, that it looks like it belongs there. I looked at 100's of products over the course of about 2 weeks before I made my choice. As another reviewer said, this is solid furniture, not an el-cheapo product. I am very pleased and will recommend to others.

The first table I ordered came with large gashes on the table top, and a cracked horizontal beam. I called Target.com (they are AWESOME!) and they sent another one over, free of charge. But guess what? This time the beams were totally shattered in shards, but the table-top was OK. I had to pick and choose non-broken pieces from both tables and finally assembled them into an OK table. <br /><br />The table looks good, but as you see the packaging is horrible, and the wood is really cheap. <br /><br />The good thing though is Target.com. They are really helpful, both over the phone and by email (it's one of those rare companies that actually responds to you when you send email!)<br /><br />Avoid this manufacturer: Home Elegance. They are crap.

Review of 4D Concepts 3 - tier Plant Stand with Slate Top

I would highly recommend this plant stand from 4D Concepts. First of all, it's attractive - the shelves give the appearance of slate. Secondly, it very compact and doesn't take up the room that 3 individual plant stands would. In addition, the side shelves fold up if you don't want to use them. I have one very large plant - 16" in diameter - in the center, and two 8" plants on the side - and the stand is very sturdy. There was no assembly involved, and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Review of Single Sided Book Display Stand

We deliberated a great deal in trying to find a piece of furniture that would accomodate our hundred or so softcover books from our 18-month-old and 3.5 year old daughters' collection. So many of the softcover books just get lost in our hundreds of other books, and thus don't get much exposure.

We chose this one after looking over everything from canvas sling-style shelves and multitudes of similar shelving units from companies like Steffy Wood and Guidecraft. We settled on this one because of the size and price and I have to say, I'm glad we did. Though the dimensions seem large enough on paper, this is a surprisingly small piece of furniture once you've gotten it together. This is fine, I suppose, considering the size of the kids, but I can't imagine how tiny some of these book displays are. This seems the perfect size, even for our 18-month-old.

Assembly took about 30 minutes by the way, and was fairly straightforward. Although the shelving unit looks like it's got a lot of wood to it, it's actually rather flimsy plywood pieces that are surprising sturdy once assembled (you almost forget entirely how thin the individual components are- it looks quite solid). You do have to be mindful of their flimsiness during the assembly as there is a potential for breaking them if you're not careful.

We are able to store/display about 10 - 15 softcover books per shelf. Which isn't our entire softcover collection, but at least a significant portion of it. They overlap so that you can see about one third of the cover - just enough to identify what book it is. They're actually quite attractive stored this way, and the kids seem to enjoy it. I imagine that with hardcover books this would be a difficult strategy to employ, and you might only be able to display 4 to 5 books per shelf, maximum. The shelves, at 1.5 inches are really quite shallow.

I'd still be curious to read a really good review or recieve comments in regards to other shelving units of this sort and how they compare in terms or storage and display. It's hard to get any idea what these units are like without being able to actually see them in person first. Most of the reviews I've read are lacking in details.

As for this shelf, we are pleased overall, but its one drawback is the price. Considering the cheap materials and the fact that it's made in China, I'm thinking this should cost about half what is being asked. However in comparison to what else is out there, it's probably a bargain.

Review of Planet 3- Black Lacquered Shelving Unit

I bought the matching TV stand last year thinking that the shelves in the stand provided enough space for our cable box, gaming consoles, etc.When we needed more space, I set out to find the matching shelving unit and found it at several websites.Amazon.com had the best price and the best shipping cost.The only trouble I ran into with the order was a mix up at the manufacturer, who sent me the wrong product.Amazon.com fixed the problem immediately at no cost to me, and I had the right product within a few days.My only issue with the unit is that like all heavy shelving units, it's a little shaky.An anchor is included where you can attach it to the wall, but I'm in an apartment, so this isn't an option for me.I was able to place moving sliders underneath it, and it seems to shake a lot less.

Review of Home Star Country Cottage Collection Desk

After much deliberation on how to furnish my tiny home office, I decided I wanted a solid wood desk that didn't look like computer furniture. Home Star offered other affordable solid wood styles but I chose the Country Cottage Collection because it had the lightest finish. The "whitewash" has a yellow cast which didn't bother me.

I couldn't believe how pretty this desk was when it arrived. It is solid and sturdy, yet assembly couldn't be easier; simply screw on the legs and the drawer knob. My only minor complaint is I wish the drawer was wide enough to accommodate my mousepad as well as my keyboard. The drawer opening is tall enough to fit my Microsoft 4000 keyboard, which has a high wrist attachment. (The inside dimensions of the drawer are 22.75" W x 3.75" H x 15.75" D. The drawer slides out about halfway. Laid flat the drawer face adds 4" of space.)

I also purchased the side table and bookcases. Not as thrilled with the bookcases as they are a little smaller than I would have liked and they were overly fussy to put together. But if you want a matching set, what choice do you have?

The desk, however, is worth every penny (shop around!) We purchased a lot of inexpensive DIY furniture and these pieces were by far the nicest and the easiest to assemble (aside from the bookcases).

Review of Disney's Ariel Little Mermaid Saucer Chair

Purchased today-Chair is adorable but I am returning tomorrow, very unstable. The chair tipped over numerous times when my daughter was sitting in it. My daughter is 18 mos old and the chair is just her size- I don't know if it would occur with an older child but then with an older child the chair would be too small.

This is a really nice wooden patio bar. The wood is nice and the stools are sturdy. The sink is a nice feature that I didnt see in alot of other patio bars. Some minor assembly problems with the supplied screws, but overall, Im very happy with the purchase.

I'm quite happy with the coat rack which I got for $50 shipped with Prime.You can store umbrellas in the lower part.The woodwork is good, though it came a little dinged up by the time it came to me.This thing is designed well and is easy to put together.It is nicer then Ikea furniture:

I would recommend this item handily and I anticipate I'll be using the coat rack until I'm 80.

This patio bar set is fantastic. Solid teak that returns to original color with teak oil application every 3 - 4 months (under HOT South Florida sun!) Only drawback is size of seat on bar stools. They measure 12" deep by 16" wide -- tried and tried to find cushions and finally had to purchase Sunbrella fabric and make myself (too expensive to have made). This set looks great with the matching Deep seating love seat, coffee table, chair and ottamon.

This globe is the perfect accent to an office, study, or library. I have one beside my computer desk and it brings a smile to my face whenever I glance at it.

The dark finish set against the bright, beautiful contrast of the globe make this the most beautiful globe money can buy - assuming you're like me and didn't want to spend more than $500.

This one can be had anywhere from $250-350, but it looks like a million dollars.

The globe is certainly a bit more decorative than functional (though it does have all the countries listed, the sizing is more than a little off), but it certainly doesn't bother me. This globe is simply gorgeous and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I am satisfied with the tv cart, the thing that I am disappointed in is, the picture shows it as oak and black, that is what I wanted, only in the description does it say black, which is what I received, it was all black. I was so excited to put it together when it came, I didn't realize it was wrong until it was completely assembled. I didn't want to have to take it apart again, so I just have to live with the mistake.

Review of Valencia Collection Extendable Outdoor Bar Dining Set

I bought this set a few weeks ago and it's great.It arrived in about a week, and took a total of 2-3 hours to assemble.For the price I think it's the best you are going to get.While there was a little bit of wobble to a couple of the chairs when I first assembled them, overall it's a very sturdy and good looking set of outdoor furniture.The only improvement I would suggest is to put a latch on both sides of the table for securing the leaf at both ends.There is a nice latch on one side which keeps it in place, but the other side tends to open up a tiny tiny bit after a while.

Cons:
* Not all of the bolts recess to the exact same level.Some bolts when fully tightened still showed over the edge, while most were fully receded.Very minor.
* A couple chairs were wobbly, but this could be easily fixed by sanding one of the legs down or adding some padding.
* Could maybe use a tiny bit of sanding, but very minor

Pros:
* Cost
* Looks great

* Easy to assemble

Review of Ewins Premium 8pc Outdoor Patio Furniture Dining Set

Table length is actually 5ft/60inches not the 6ft/72 inches stated.

Cushions are all-weather but inferior to the expected quality for price.

I included and paid for an umbrella stand and it was not with the shipments.

Overall satisfaction is good though the table length a major disappointment.

Review of Shaker 6-pc. Dining Set - Black/Oak

i wasn't sure when i ordered this if i had to assemble it. i also wasn't sure how sturdy such an inexpensive table would be. i have to tell you it is great. the chairs have a lot of weight to them (they do not feel cheap at all) and the table is just as good. the assembly was easy. maybe 2 hours. the color is nice too. we have it in our living/dining room and it matches nicely with the other furniture (the expensive stuff). i bought this table because my husband and i will only be in our apartment a short time. not knowing what kind of dining table the next apartment will allow (we live in NYC and space is an issue) i didn't want something "nice" in case i have to get rid of it. my husband couldn't believe how much it cost because it's so comfortable and solid feeling.

just assembled and strkingly good quality for the price. large and comfortable. 1/4 the price of other stuff I considered. wish I could locate some additonal individual pieces. only issue is that the front panel on the chairs is misaligned some with the seat bottom making assembly difficult. This problem does not apply to the loveseat which fits together fine. All in all this is a bargain nowhere else matched. I would buy it again in a second.

Review of Deer Park Daisy Table

This makes a gorgeous plant stand. I expected the glass top to be included, as is
shown in the photo, but it was not.The fact that it did not include the glass was
not noted in the tables description. If you will be using it as a table, you will
need to top it with glass since the daisy design is so open. The 24" glass round can
be purchased on Amazon for $45. I purchased the table from Sears at half off during a
13 hour online sale. Even though it didn't come with the glass, I am happy with my purchase
at 1/2 off.

Lider Chairs from Zuo Modern or rather Zuo Disaster !
I got 2 of this chair that I purchased from July of Last year (2007), one of the chair broke last September (2007) and the other one got the same problem, broken Piston last January (2008)......the company send me 2 new pistons and an instruction how to replace them.... after hours of hitting the broken piston out of the chair base, it ruined my chairmat and my carpet as well, so I called them again for assistance, their customer support told me that these chairs were designed in such a way that you can't really take them apart for safety reason. So at this point I gave up, instruction to replace the piston is a JOKE ! after less than a year, I lost $400 and I got 2 useless chairs.
I did get a free replacement chair from them, but by the rate how these chairs are breaking, I'll need to buy one every 3 months.
The sad part is I got these 2 chairs to replace two temporary chairs that I got from IKEA, thank God! the IKEA chairs are still working amazingly well.
Oh Ya, regarding the free chair....Today is March 16, 2008, my third Lider Chair is broken too, same problem, the broken piston, way to go Zuo Disaster.
Please try another chair or another company! Be safe !

I ordered these because they were the ONLY such chair cushions I could find in this color, after much searching.They were very expensive so I hoped that the quality would be supreme.However, they aren't very comfortable, the fabric is stiff, and they aren't worth the money.I saw chair cushions at Target that were better than these at 1/4 the cost.Too bad they didn't have the right color!!!

Review of Hillsdale Pompei 5-Piece Dining Set with Caster Chairs

These chairs broke at swivel/recline mechanism because there is only ONE weld and all the stress on the chair breaks that ONE weld. Company sent replacement parts and they broke within a year, AGAIN! These were adult owned, gently used, and only used 3 times a week! Only had for 2 1/2 years! I'm told by the company, that the parts are out of stock and unable to be ordered. I spent hundreds of dollars on what I thought would be really nice chairs, only to find that they're probably gonna have to be replaced already.
Plus, the glass top is held to the bottom by suction cups!!
