I bought this on a whim because it was on sale for almost nothing, and I like blue light, plasmaspheres and those kind of products.I didn't care for the dolphin idea, but I liked the blue light.
I do like it and keep it on all the time in a dark corner.It pleases me and I like the light effect, but the lamp really is objectively ugly/tacky/cheap/'kitchy' in all respects.
The base is not black, but a faux plastic ocean wave that looks so terrible.The Dolphin shape is dumb.Overall ... again ... Tacky!BUT I LOVE IT... what can I say .... Elegant it is not.Subtle it's not. Classy, cute, charming ... none of them apply.
You gotta just like it for what it is.If you like blue plasma light effect and don't care about the shape, it's great.
It's truly awful ... but I love it! lol
