First off let me say that you get what you pay for and that this is probably priced about right or just a little too much. I believe my expectations might have been a little high.This table is mostly veneer and light wood and I really did expect that the top would be wood.It's also strictly a 'bling' piece and wouldn't stand up long to daily use especially by children.It is also assembly furniture.It comes in four pieces, topside glass insert, top, trunk and base.It's very easy to assemble and was packaged by Powell very well.Careful of over tightening the bolts.I could here the metel insets starting to strip the wood without a lot of torque applied.Click Here to see more reviews about: Powell Masterpiece Scalloped Apron Focal Table
