We've had a table like this for 15 years (ours has a Formica top). It stows flat against the wall in our small study, then can be opened with one shelf for home school use, or full for doing 1000 piece puzzles. We've used this for Thanksgiving dinners and have sat 6 kids while the adults used the dining room table. Quite a useful little set that we wouldn't want to do without.
