Review of Lider Office Chair in Pistachio - by Zuo Modern (Pistachio) (40"H x 23"W x 25"D)

Lider Chairs from Zuo Modern or rather Zuo Disaster !
I got 2 of this chair that I purchased from July of Last year (2007), one of the chair broke last September (2007) and the other one got the same problem, broken Piston last January (2008)......the company send me 2 new pistons and an instruction how to replace them.... after hours of hitting the broken piston out of the chair base, it ruined my chairmat and my carpet as well, so I called them again for assistance, their customer support told me that these chairs were designed in such a way that you can't really take them apart for safety reason. So at this point I gave up, instruction to replace the piston is a JOKE ! after less than a year, I lost $400 and I got 2 useless chairs.
I did get a free replacement chair from them, but by the rate how these chairs are breaking, I'll need to buy one every 3 months.
The sad part is I got these 2 chairs to replace two temporary chairs that I got from IKEA, thank God! the IKEA chairs are still working amazingly well.
Oh Ya, regarding the free chair....Today is March 16, 2008, my third Lider Chair is broken too, same problem, the broken piston, way to go Zuo Disaster.
Please try another chair or another company! Be safe !

I love this table - it's exactly the right size I needed, looks terrific, well-made, etc. Price was right and shipping a breeze. The only disappointment I have had so far is that I've already gotten a couple of scratches on the table top. That may have been because of a friend leaving stuff on the table top - but I would have liked a dining table to be a little more durable than that.

Review of "Graceful" Black 5-pc Dinette Set, Table/Chair

First off, the dimensions for the height of the table are wrong, it is more like 29-31inches tall, not 39, which I had figured before I ordered, 39 would be very tall.
The set came alot sooner than expected, the boxes were in very rough shape, and the table had a broken corner, but a simple call to Cross Country has a new table on its way, no charge.
The table is made cheaper than I expected, but is very sturdy, and you really cant tell unless you look underneath to see that it is not solid wood. The chairs are very nice looking and suprisingly comfy.
So if you like the look of it and are on a tight budget, go for it!

Review of Winsome Wood Beachwood Breakfast Bar

This is a pretty nice breakfast bar.I got it on sale and it was shipped from amazon right away.Assembling it was a pain but it wasn't overly complicated.The worst part about assembling it was using the tiny glue bottle.Also, the little stoppers that you are supposed to put on the side of the drawers (so they don't fall out) don't really stay in place.The screw-hole covers don't like to stay on either, but that's to be expected.All in all, once it was assembled it looks very cute and compact.I like how it has wheels so I can easily convert it from the small breakfast bar to the drop-leaf table.

Review of NEW LONG SOLID WOOD DINING SET TABLE AND 6 CHAIRS

We just received our set yesterday and put it together last night.It came packed very well and with no damage.It is a beautiful, well put together, timless piece.However, it is not the color we expected.The stain is a lot more red and darker than it looks online.It's pretty much a cherry finish.The cushions are a tan and sage green pattern with a little bit of gold.I thought they were just two shades of tan from the picture.Even though it isn't what we expected we really love the quality and look.It's a little on the masculine side and the size of the chairs are a bit intimidating.(At 5"5" when my back is to the back of the chair my feet don't touch the floor.)They are VERY comfortable though.Aside from the color differences, I would definately recommend this set.I can't believe we only paid $819.95 for it!A steal!

this dining set is gorgeous, although the espresso finish is not as dark as pictured. the table was easy to assemble. the chairs would have been easy to assemble, except on 3 of my chairs, the holes for the support bars that run between the front and back legs didn't align properly, so those support bars are tilting downward.but despite the flaw, the chairs are solid.the one "good" chair took half the time to assemble. the table looks great in my "cozy" LR, and for $50 cheaper, i would've given it a 5 star rating.

We got this EXACT set at a local furniture store for about $85, so don't buy it at this price (you'll also have to pay shipping).EVERY furniture store has this set.It's a good little set.It's easy to put together, serves it's purpose, and is pretty easy to wipe clean.It does, however stain very easily.Spaghetti sauce, mustard, blueberries, and anything with color will permanently stain it because the wood is so light.My mom brought over a scented candle once and it was on the table for about five minutes an I now have a big red circle there forever.This is good for a starter table, but I wouldn't recommend it for very long-term use.

Review of Square Trenton Chair height Pub Table

I have a small dining area and had been looking for a chair height pub table for months. The only one I had found was over $2300! WAY over what I can afford :(
Then I found this little gem for a fraction of the price. And don't let the low price fool you, this is a solid, attractive piece of furniture.You will need to assemble it, but that consists of attaching the 4 legs. It took me about 5 minutes to do and I am NOT a handy person. The table is very stable, none of that jiggly movement one so often sees in cheap stuff.
I ordered my table on Jan 6, it was shipped out on Jan 8, and arrived on Jan 12th. So I would give the service 10 stars if I could. The packaging was excellent, that table top was well padded so it arrived in perfect condition. And, a very nice touch, the bottom of the table top had a carrying strap attached to assist in moving it out of the box to where I wanted to assemble it.

I will definately be buying from this vendor again.

At first, I was a bit worried from reading reviews about bad experiences on furniture shipment, but I decided to give it a try.I ordered 6 chairs, and they arrived well packaged within 23 days.There was no confirmation or shipping info for 10 days, and they shipped immediately after I contacted the merchant.I received the "rich cappuccino" finish instead of "cappuccino" as it says here.So it's a nice dark (almost black, but not quite) finish, which I like, but it doesn't match with our cherry dining table.But for such a great price and after waiting for the chairs to arrive for so long, I didn't want to go through the hassle of asking for the correct item or wait again on delivery.

I was not happy with the instructions sent with this product, and because the instructions are only pictures, I messed up.One of the chair legs had a crack at the top of the leg, and two of the legs I messed up because of the instructions.When I contacted this company I was told no problem, they will send out 3 more legs and will be no charge.The legs were supposed to ship July 21st, but according to Fed Ex they never received the legs.In contacting the Company they said Fed Ex must have lost them, and would ship out the legs on the 29th of July.Well that did not happen, so I contacted them again and was told the legs would ship on the 6th of August.Today is the 6th of August and I tried to contact them again, but only could reach an answering machine to leave a message.The reason I was contacting them on the 6th was to make sure I could get a tracking number from Fed Ex, because this is the only way I will know if they really shipped.So far I am not pleased with this company, and if I don't receive the legs I am going to call my credit card company for a full refund.

Review of Counter-Height Table with 4 Pub Chairs – Espresso

..were prohibitive. I emailed Target cust service to see if there was any way they could ship to a Target or a Target distribution center but no such luck. I kept this table along with a set of 2 more chairs in my wish list for a couple weeks and almost bit the bullet but I figured I'd do more research first. We've got several "budget" furniture stores in Albany GA and the first had the smaller version of this table in it but I needed to be able to expand for occasional company. I almost gave up and at the very last place I went, to my surprise, sitting in the dust filled back corner, sure enough there was the table and EIGHT chairs on sale as a floor model for $699.00. The previous price was $895. Still, if ordered the same thing here I would have paid $1057 plus $435 for shipping so my hesitation paid off and I don't have to put anything together. I LOVE the dark espresso finish and I think I'll be coating the top with some varnish and recovering the seats with a bold color. When finished my dining area will be modern with splashes of bold colors so this table with it's X back chairs really make a nice finish. It's huge with the leaf opened 54x54 and the extra two chairs will be nice!! THey also had the mission style pub table right next to it. DO YOUR homework before paying huge shipping costs.This is a nice table but isn't going to be that table that you hand down to your kids years and years from now. If you want the "look" get it; but don't pay more than $800 (including shipping) for it!

Review of Linon Ardmore Kitchen Nook Set

First off, this is a great price for a nook and I did my research. Secondly, it completely fits our needs and has proven a new place for my daughter and I to hang out and either prepare meals or do projects. The two storage spaces are a huge bonus. The unit is reasonably sturdy and was simple enough to put together. I did use a power drill at times and think it would have taken me much longer to complete without one. Regardless, it's such a great unit and with Amazon Prime it was free shipping so you can't beat that!

While this set of chairs and 'matching' table look fairly cute, the quality is terrible. One of the chairs is already falling apart and I've had the set less than a month. In addition, sitting in the chairs to do something at the table (i.e., eat) is horribly painful for your shoulders and back as the chair height is far too high for the table!!

Review of 3 Piece Dining Set in Natural and White Finish with White Tile

My table came triple wrapped and triple taped, as if to protect it from the next world war. No worries, it'll make it through!
After reading other peoples reviews, I felt I should comment, because to me, I feel they were slightly misleading. There were several comments as to the length of time involved for setting up the table, drilled holes being mismatched...etc...etc.
I swear, the hardest, and longest part of the whole job, was getting all the parts unwrapped. The rest of it went together as it should, with no hassles. I am a women with a history in the construction trade, so Im starting out with a bit of an advantage. But I think my Mom, who is an all alround "girly-girl", could have finished the job without calling on me or my brother. One warning, getting that plastic off was the most damage this table will probably ever recieve!! That aggrevated me a bit.
Over all however, I would order it again if need be. I like the style, width, height, the fact the little stools totally fit uder it and over the cross beams of the table. It was a good buy. But I DO NOT have any advice on how to get all the plastic wrap off. I finally settled on sawing it with a kitchen knife, because it was thin enough to get into the wrap, with minimum contact with the variuos pieces of wood.

This table set is such poor quality. The chairs feel like they are going to break. The table legs feel the same way. The only thing great about this set is that it does fold up nicely. We live in a small apartment, so this set is a space saver. Just don't let anyone stand up on the chairs or table.

I'm a veteran furniture assembler, this is the first product I'm going to return.The assembly instructions are sketchy and contain errors. They took a sleek design and ruined it with shoddy manufacturing and cheap materials. The flimsy table isn't stable and it's not suitable for children or adults.
Based on the quality of the table, I didn't even try to assemble the accompanying chair.

I was very apprehensive - color is very hard to interpret via computer. I purchased the table about ten days ago from iFurn dot com because at the time, Amazon.com was out of stock. It arrived two days ago, and is really beautiful. I'll have to take a photo and post it later. You can't tell from the studio photo, but the top of the table has the tree "rings" on top. I don't know if that varies or if it's always the case, but mine has the rings. I was looking for something that was a warm, dark honey look, and this is perfect!

Assembly is very easy and fast. It took 30 minutes to put all four chairs and the rectangular table together. You just have to screw the legs into the table, and then attach the two front legs and the seat to each chair frame.We were missing one little washer in one set of chairs, and then we had four extra little washers in the second set of chairs. Otherwise, everything was accounted for. The only tool needed was the provided allen wrench(es). I am very satisfied!

The whole set is sturdy and solid; one would never assume it was partially assembled at home.

I love this set. It is much better in person. There is not assembly on the chairs and they are great. They are very heavy so you don't want to move them around a lot. The table take some assembly but the instructions are very easy.I also bought cushions to go with it and an umbrella. you will need a stand for the umbrella if it is not bar height. I got this table and chairs for my 2 year old daughter.When we were putting the pieces together, we found that many of the pre-drilled screw holes were too big for the screws so they didn't catch.Also, the pieces didn't fit together tightly - there were small gaps where there shouldn't have been.My daughter, being an adventurous kid, climbed up onto the one chair that we were able to get together fairly tightly and almost immediately, two of the legs buckled under.She ended up with a nasty bump (I realize she shouldn't have been standing on it but she's only two and doesn't weigh much).The table is fine but in my opinion, the chairs are dangerous!I would not recommend this set to anyone!
